Dreamweaver is NOT just a WYSIWYG editor

DWMX LogoI used to use Dreamweaver MX everyday.
I code by hand.
When I'm in Windows, I still use Dreamweaver MX, but I never even see the blank white WYSIWYG screen because I have it set to "Homesite / Coder Style". In fact some would say I have a very expensive text editor. When you first run it you have a choice between the interface. If you're using the MX interface you have an option of using the Homesite / Coder Style interface. It's almost identical to homesite.
I guess I'm just tired of seeing Dreamweaver being treated as a "WYSIWYG only" editor, especially when I read things about how Homesite is better. Homesite has been integrated with Dreamweaver since MX, about the time I started using it exclusively. Of course now I'm doing alot more coding on Linux, where Dreamweaver is currently not available. There is talk of Macromedia starting to developing their apps to run on Linux. That would be perfect although, Quanta is earning it's spot as a replacement!
Update! Macromedia never did release those Linux versions, I rarely use Windows anymore, and Quanta did earn it's spot as the replacement!
